Hi, I’m 17 years old now, I have pubic hair and armpit hair, and my pubic hair is starting to stretch to my inner thighs, I am also probs 2 to 3 months away from needing to start to shave. I’ve also stopped getting taller, just under 6 foot. Also not sure if this is actually medically relevent but theres the joke that small hands means small penis, and my hands are pretty small, to put it in perspective they are alot smaller than my mums and shes 5 foot 8. for as long as I can remember my unerect penis size has been around 2-3cm, I cant remember how big it got when I got erect at around 14-15 but I dont think its changed much. I’m just wondering if I have gone thru puberty yet, I mean when my penis does go erect its not huge but it still gets to 12cm ish. its also very difficult to pull the foreskin back and I went to the doctor and he said that it was difficult but was not phimiosos. Anyway pretty much my main question is will my penis grow or is it likely that its finished growing

Hi Thomas.
First of all I need to assure you, that the size of your penis is not related to size of your hands. The end of the complete development of the external sexual characteristics of a man is absolutely individual. Usually genitals stop the growth in young people at the age of seventeen, and even twenty-five years.

The hormonal background is very important, like the level of testosterone in the blood. The insufficiency of these sizes is a clear sign of endocrine disorders associated with low production of the male sex hormone.

As a rule, this phenomenon is accompanied by the absence of many secondary sexual characteristics. But according to your message, your development is up to date. You think that 14-15 cm penis is too small, but let’s take a look at the statistics.

To what extent should it increase during the puberty? It is believed that the normal size of a grown man’s erected penis should be in the range from 10 to 18 centimeters. And non-erected – from 7 to 10.5 cm. So, the average length of “male pride” in arousal is about 14-15 centimeters, and the thickness ranges from 3 to 4.5 cm. According to that number your penis size is perfectly normal.

Good luck to you!
